Find answers to common questions about our clinical approach, treatments, and your journey toward holistic wellness.
Our initial consultation is a comprehensive 45-minute virtual session with one of our board-certified physicians. We review your medical history, current wellness goals, and discuss potential diagnostic pathways tailored to your specific biology.
The membership includes 24/7 access to our clinical messaging platform, monthly 1:1 sessions with your health coach, quarterly labs, and personalized prescription management. We focus on a holistic loop of care that evolves as you do.
We offer flexible monthly plans with no long-term lock-in. However, for optimal results, our clinical team recommends a minimum of three months to establish a personalized baseline and begin seeing meaningful health improvements.
Unlike traditional clinics, Mindful Wellness takes a root-cause approach to metabolic health. We combine advanced diagnostics, personalized nutrition science, behavioral coaching, and medication management when appropriate — all under one coordinated care team.
Yes. Our physicians conduct a full medication review during onboarding. We work collaboratively with your existing care providers and will never make changes without your informed consent. Our goal is to complement, not replace, your current healthcare relationships.
All Mindful Wellness physicians are board-certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or Obesity Medicine. Each provider holds an active medical license in their operating states and completes ongoing continuing medical education specific to metabolic health.
Comprehensive metabolic panels are conducted quarterly during the first year of care. After establishing a stable baseline, labs may shift to a biannual schedule. Your physician will determine the appropriate cadence based on your individual clinical picture and medication protocol.
Our program primarily serves individuals with a BMI over 27 accompanied by at least one weight-related comorbidity (e.g., Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, sleep apnea), or a BMI over 30. We conduct a thorough intake evaluation to assess candidacy.
We currently provide telehealth services in 32 states. Our team is actively expanding licensure coverage. You can verify state availability during the initial intake form. For states not currently covered, we maintain a priority waitlist and notify patients as coverage expands.
All members have access to our clinical messaging platform 24/7 with guaranteed physician response within 4 business hours. For urgent concerns, our on-call clinical team is available by phone. For emergencies, please contact 911 or your local emergency services immediately.
Where clinically appropriate, our physicians can prescribe GLP-1 receptor agonists including semaglutide (Ozempic/Wegovy), tirzepatide (Mounjaro/Zepbound), and liraglutide (Victoza/Saxenda). Prescribing decisions are individualized based on your health profile, goals, and insurance coverage.
Prescriptions are sent to your preferred pharmacy or our partnered specialty mail-order pharmacy for convenient home delivery. For injectable medications, we provide comprehensive training materials and ongoing nursing support to ensure safe self-administration.
The most commonly reported side effects with GLP-1 medications include nausea, mild gastrointestinal discomfort, and transient fatigue — particularly during dose titration. These typically resolve within 2-4 weeks. Your physician will provide a detailed side-effect management guide.
Not necessarily. Our goal is to use medication as one tool within a comprehensive lifestyle transformation program. Some patients achieve their goals and successfully taper off medications under physician supervision. Your long-term plan is always individualized and revisited at each quarterly review.
Our clinical team maintains awareness of inventory across multiple pharmacies and will proactively contact you with alternatives or FDA-permitted compounded options when your prescribed medication is unavailable. We will never leave you without a plan.
We are currently out-of-network for monthly membership fees. However, many patients successfully use HSA or FSA funds to cover program costs. Diagnostic laboratory tests ordered through our program are frequently covered by your primary insurance provider and we provide all documentation for reimbursement.
Our membership tiers start at $199/month for the Core plan, which includes monthly physician check-ins and prescription management. The Comprehensive plan at $349/month adds quarterly labs, dedicated health coaching, and priority messaging access.
We are committed to full pricing transparency. The monthly membership fee covers all clinical visits, messaging support, and care coordination. Medications, laboratory tests billed through insurance, and optional add-on services are listed separately on your itemized invoice. There are no enrollment or cancellation fees.
Yes. Mindful Wellness membership fees and many associated medical services qualify as HSA/FSA-eligible expenses. We provide a detailed Superbill each month that you can submit to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement or pay directly at checkout.
You may cancel at any time with no cancellation fee. Simply notify our team via the member portal or clinical messaging at least 5 business days before your next billing cycle. Your care access and records remain available to you for 90 days following cancellation.
