It is the idea of using ChatGPT to instantly estimate the protein in your meals. If you have never used ChatGPT before, do not worry. You do not need to be tech savvy, and you do not need the paid version. The free version can now analyze photos, and yes, that is exactly as helpful as it sounds.

This matters for a very important reason. Most people eat far less protein than they think, and protein is the single biggest driver of satiety, stable hunger, better body composition, and a stronger metabolism as you lose weight. Step 3: Ask a Simple Question

Ask ChatGPT this question.

“How many grams of protein are in this meal? Estimate each item.”

ChatGPT will analyze the ingredients in the photo and give you an item by item breakdown. It will also estimate portion sizes as best as possible from the image. The result is not perfect, but it is surprisingly accurate and much more helpful than guessing.

A bonus prompt you can use is this.

“Tell me how to increase the protein in this meal without adding too many calories.”

This is one of my favorite use cases. You get simple upgrades that are realistic, practical, and easy to apply in real life.
